Originally released as a standalone single back in April, Wonk Unit’s “The Thickest Skin” is a standout on their new LP Good Good Glad To Hear It, and one with an important message of resilience through loss.

“I wrote this song for my partner- but I hope it resonates with anyone who has had to fight to get to tomorrow, and grown a thick skin in the process,” says singer, songwriter, and guitarist Alex Wonk. “Survivors of sexual abuse, domestic abuse, drug and alcohol abuse. They are the strongest people in the world. It’s a nod to them. You keep going because you have to.”
