Happy Release Day to Guadalajara powerhouse Flores y Fuego! Wabi-Sabi, the new 7-song blast of their signature brand of darkly intense hardcore punk, is OUT NOW everywhere you get your records via Pirates Press Records.

Building on the sound forged on their stunning 2022 debut Altar and continued on last year’s split 7″ with Los Angeles’s Slaughterhouse, the members of Flores y Fuego have persevered through turmoil both internal and external with a commitment to, as they put it, “keep the fire burning.” After a significant lineup change, with a new lead guitarist bringing a fresh energy and new perspective to the band, they are excited to share this new chapter in their collective history.

“We celebrate the beauty of imperfection, acknowledge impermanence, and embrace [the] transitory,” says lead singer Melisa. “In every crack, in every scar, there are stories that connect us to the fragility of the present.”

On songs like “Sacrificio” & “Todo Va a Estar Bien,” Flores y Fuego never shy away from the dark side of life in modern society. Expanding on the themes explored on this record, Melisa says, “Wabi-Sabi reflects our reaction to all the rotten nonsense that’s currently going on in our country and the rest of the world. With this album, we dive into a journey of introspection and catharsis where imperfection becomes the perfect expression of our truth.”
