The Drowns Release New 7″ Single Featuring Cover of “Know Who You Are” by Slade

We’re kicking off 2022 with a bang! Earlier this year, The Drowns went back into the studio with Ted Hutt and laid down a bunch of new songs, their first new recordings since 2020’s acclaimed LP Under Tension! 

Now the first two songs from those sessions are ready to explode into a music-starved world on a brand new 45 rpm 7″ single. The A-side features a cover of “Know Who You Are” by the legendary Slade, while the B-side features a brand new original Drowns anthem called “Guidelines of Control!” The Drowns are never shy to wear their influences on their sleeves, and their excitement to record this classic tune shines through – in both the performance and in the way they hammed it up for the tribute sleeve art!
