Come Closer Release Debut Digital Single “Get It Wrong,” LP “Pretty Garbage” Due in 2021

We’re excited to introduce the newest band to the PIRATES PRESS RECORDS family – COME CLOSER. “GET IT WRONG” is the first single from the band’s debut LP, PRETTY GARBAGE, which will be released in early 2021.

COME CLOSER is the solo moniker of J WANG (DAN PADILLA, TILTWHEEL, ALTAIRA) and embodies his DIY mentality. WANG produced the record in the back room of his house with some help from an all star cast including DAVEY QUINN (TILTWHEEL, DAN PADILLA) and CHRIS PRESCOTT (PINBACK, NO KNIFE, ROCKET FROM THE CRYPT) who lended their musical and engineering talents that helped bring this record to life.
