Reissue of Blind Pigs’ Self-Titled LP Available for Pre-Order Now!

Known by many fans (and even by the band) as “The Yellow Album,” this beloved album is considered the essential game changer in the Blind Pigs catalog, and a classic of South American streetpunk in general!

Featuring hits like “Amanhã Não Vai Mudar,” “O Idiota,” and “Sete de Setembro,” all of which remain crowd-pleasing favorites among the ‘legion of nonconformists’ at every Blind Pigs show, this is the place to start for many of the band’s greatest anthems.

“‘The Yellow Album’ was a moment of musical evolution for Blind Pigs, both in production and songwriting. It was the first time the band made an entire album at once, unlike the previous two, which combined songs from various phases,” recalls guitarist Gordo.

Originally released only on CD in Brazil in 2002, and out of print on vinyl for over a decade, Pirates Press Records is proud to put this classic back in print with its first ever pressing of 12” vinyl, remastered and re-cut at 45 RPM for optimal sound quality, and pressed on gorgeous Sunspot Marble vinyl! Also included is a booklet with unreleased photos and the story of the album’s conception straight from the band.
