Recorded from their own homes, Vancouver’s favorite motorcycho punks THE VICIOUS CYCLES have released “SANDPAPER,” a quarantine song about the every day experience of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us can relate to the feeling of having washed our hands until they feel like they’ve turned to sandpaper. We’ve stocked up on essentials, and we’re all watching TV and finding ways to interact with our friends and family from a distance. The idea behind the song is a focus on these common experiences and how they unite us, during this era where we live underneath the oppressive politics of division. But let’s forget that heady noise for now…this is a sing along! Belt it!
